Magnacool is co-owned by Gary Edwards and Mike Cook, who have both been baking since childhood. The Magnacool team’s unrivalled baking knowledge means they know exactly what bakeries need to succeed. One of the greatest obstacles in the modern bakery is that of the waiting times which are necessary to allow the baked products to cool. These waiting times not only slow up production times but also create an increase need in trolleys, baking trays and tins. Moreover, it reduces the available space, which results in potential chaos in the workplace.
The Magnacooler is cooling unit, specially developed and designed to cool down baked products. Depending on the ingredients used in the products, cooling time will be reduced. Tests show that the Magnacooler allows faster product cooling, and the quicker your product is cooled, the less bacteria develops and the longer your product stays fresh!

The Magnacooler comes in a variety of sizes and options so that a wide range of bakeries can benefit from the innovative technology. The Magnacooler is available in 4 different sizes to accommodate your bakery (the 2000, 2800, 3200 & 3400) and can be used with single or double racks to accommodate EU, UK & US sizing. You can also add the Magnacool Supreme which has the addition of a custom-built UV system eradicating 99.9% of bacteria’s including E-Coli. The Supreme provides disinfection of airflow by using germicidal ultraviolet radiation at a wavelength of 254nm which disables biological contaminants such a viruses, bacteria, and moulds (can be retrofitted to an existing Magnacooler). There is also the Tunnel Magnacooler which can be designed and built to the requirements of your existing oven and products.

FAQs
The Magnacooler is manufactured here in the UK where the factory is BS, EN, ISO9001 approved, the factory has been proudly manufacturing for the bakery industry globally since 1946; it also has a fully equipped test bakery where you can test your products in the Magnacooler.
The SmartCool software will give you a 30 day notification, the sensors in the Magnacooler will detect when the airflow is being reduced to an amount that will require a filter change. Filters are F7 type and HACCP approved.
This depends on (i) how often you use the Magnacooler, (ii) the quality of the environmental air around you and (iii) the type of products you are cooling, on average most customers will change the filters every 12 months.
